VERRES EN VERS TERRACE
Logo, Corporate identity, Menu, Two types of signage
The new terrace at the Verres en Vers restaurant in the Radisson Hotels Group hotel. The luxury restaurant has been around for more than 10 years and has a reputation for high-level service and quality cuisine. It is located in the city center and has a stable flow of guests: both hotel guests and residents or guests of the city. Challenges:
- developing the identity of the terrace based on the existing restaurant brand
- creating an individual design of the menu respective to the interior of the terrace space
- prepare a design guide brochure that regulates further decisions in the production of promotional materials
The logo and corporate identity were developed and also were made signages in two form factors. Since the existing restaurant logo is presented in a text version, it was decided to use this version for the terrace, but with the addition of a graphic abbreviation symbol. A monochrome combination of modern futuristic and minimalistic fonts was chosen, and the composition of the logo layout is made with a noticeable space between the elements. This communicates with the whole concept of the terrace: a spacious cube extension with dark glass facades, which has a relaxing interior environment with strict furniture, wood solids, slab tables, and plants. The menu is occurring it: made on kraft paper from recycled materials, and the font color is white to emphasize the lightness and sophistication of the dishes. All the typography, colors, and logo use cases are set out in the design guide.
